The new Suds app does it all: get an instant price, book a pickup from your dorm or apartment — or skip the trip and drop your bag off yourself. Track every order live, from pickup to washing to delivery, and pay right in the app.
Dropped your bag at the counter instead? You’ll get a code — enter it in the app to follow your laundry and know the moment it’s ready.
How It Works
1. Open the app
Go to suds.balfurd.com, sign in with your email, and see your price up front.
2. Fill your bag
Book a pickup and a driver collects it at your door — or drop it off at either of our two State College locations, free.
3. Get it back folded
We wash, dry and fold it at our plant. Follow every step in the app, then have it delivered back or pick it up — your choice each way.
Plans & Pricing
Pay as you go — $35 per bag. Every bag is washed whole and comes back folded; the price never depends on what’s inside.
Save with a Suds plan:
- Monthly — $119: 4 washes a month (about $30 a bag)
- Semester — $449: 16 washes a semester (about $28 a bag)
A plan credit covers the full wash of a bag. Door-to-door courier pickup and delivery is quoted in the app per order; dropping off and picking up at our stores is always free. Start or renew a plan right in the app, or at the counter.
Good to know:
- Suds is wash, dry & fold — not dry cleaning. Suits, dresses and “dry clean only” pieces belong with Balfurd Cleaners instead.
- Bags over 20 lbs, or with items that can’t be washed, dried and folded, carry an extra charge.
- Your laundry is always washed and dried separately from other customers’, with unscented detergent, and folded and packaged for return.
